On Sunday, Dimanche there was a wheelbarrow race in our village. There is a very large parking area opposite the church which comes in handy for these kind of events.
A brass band of sorts milled around and they practiced blowing a few notes as the brouettes...(wheelbarrows) raced around. Tables and benches where set out under marquees for their repas......lunch.
We went out to watch them and some of the lads where obviously in it to win!! It was a very sunny day, so the racers had a good day out.
