A perfect day?

If the world seems cold to you, kindle fires to warm it. ~Lucy Larcom

More snow and cool winds, some of this wind seems to find a way indoors, and chills me around my knees. I was all set to meet my friend in a coffee bar, (a weekly enjoyable ritual) before we all attempt to sing, but then large fluffy white flakes started to drop from the sky.

So time is spent on the internet, mainly on Flickr, I have been admiring some of my contacts photographic and artistic skills. I am also watching the glow inside the wood burning stove.

So not the perfect day, but, not bad ~ pas mal.

My idea of a perfect day in winter is sunshine and snow, but not too much, so that we can visit the forest.

Perfect Day.
So what is your perfect day?

You could use the word frais for chilly
You could use the word essayer to try.

What a nice photograph...where you walk on the right and return on the right. You can tell it isn't England because it will show evidence of overtaking and pile-ups.
You sing?? Is there no end to your skills?

My perfect day would be reclining on something comfortable on a warm day with the sunshine filtering through my closed eyelids as I listen to and participate in a casual conversation peppered with laughter amongst friends or family. Perhaps the sound of children laughing in the distance and waves gently breaking or lapping water. I'd even settle for just chirping birds to enhance the experience...and all just the day before setting of on a much anticipated holiday.

That would be my perfect day too if we had snow..... and I lived in France :-)

I think my perfect day would be a roaring fire, cup of tea (with a chocolate biscuit of course), music on in the background and the entire day to myself to paint. Bliss

A perfect day would be a picnic in warm weather in the countryside with all the gang in good mood and happy!

The light in that photo is perfect and how did you get your lovely dog to pose so well?

My perfect day would start with Mr FF doing us both his scrambled eggs. Then we would go for a good walk with the dogs. Then we would have a lovely lunch somewhere and go and see a play in the afternoon before going for a stroll along the South Bank in London and ending up at the National theatre bar

p.s. followed by another play then a taxi to a nearby posh hotel (this is a fantasy, right?) with a view of the river - say the Savoy.

Warm. Not too warm but warm.
