Well what do you think?

~~ A man is not idle because he is absorbed in thought. There is visible labour and there is invisible labour. Victor Hugo ~~

Sunday evening I watched Les Miserables again, and it is wonderful to think that the beautiful theatre in Fougeres is named after the author Victor Hugo. I happen to be a fan of an actor in the film of (Les Miserables), of course the one and only Gerard Depardieu who plays the leading role.

Looking at a Fougeres sky

I should read the book! or listen to it?

I have been given an MP3 player so I could listen to a downloaded Les Miserables here.

There is a site where you can read books online it is called read print click on the link here.

Talking about authors, my friend was reading a magazine from the UK and I spotted a review of Deborah Lawrenson's paperback book The Lantern. I think this would look good on my French reads bookshelf, so I must get a copy! It is useful to have a rainy days bookshelf!

A trick of the light behind the Saint Sulpice

Personally I think that you can think too much!

Some French

lantern light is lumière de lanterne

labour (toil) is labeur

Oh, how lovely! I just clicked on your blog because I loved the title and tiny excerpt of this post. (I NEVER think thinking time is time wasted!) Fantastic photo, too. And discover a mention...merci beaucoup.

I prefer reading, but listening to a book in the car is nice. Don't get much chance when the kids are in with me though - they want rock!

I agree, one can think too much but phases of thinking can't hurt :-) Well that's what i think.
