Trying new things

~I quit being afraid when my first venture failed and the sky didn't fall down.
~Allen H. Neuharth

Fear of failure must never be a reason not to try something ~Frederick Smith

I have been trying out new ways with my photography, what new thing have you been trying?

Some French words for fail
to fail an exam is rater
to fail (neglect) is négliger
to go bankrupt is faire faillite
fail (not suceed) is échouer

I love your perspective of those trees. They loook.... Scary, maybe because the branches are bare. The trees look intimidating, like something bad is about to happen. From your French fail phrases, I imagine that's how you feel right now: intimidated. Maybe scared too? That dark sky surely contributes to this ominous vibe. Ha ha. Now what are you doing thinking about failure?! This post is a bit cryptic.

Wonderful perspective! I've been trying to photograph close-up things as well as being more patient and shouting less....

The blue sky gives me hope, after the failures that we all experience in life usually you can try again, or just put it down to experience. The trees do not scare me :-)

Hi Blu
Mmm! I really am thinking about this one. The last new thing I did was photograph my mobile phone with my mobile phone at midnight. I think I'll just pop it on my Brittany blog. I know what you mean about blue skies. Other new things...every time I pick up a paint brush I try something new (not all good), but I like being bold. I don't want to be anonymous and fearful for more than half a week.
