Ripples of hope

~ Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope... and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. ~Robert F. Kennedy

Despite all the wars, and fighting I view on my television screen, I am often warmed by the kindness I have found via the Internet.

Ripples of snow

I will try and get around to leaving comments on your wonderful blogs, but my Internet connection is like an old railway line in winter!

French words...
Ripple = frisson, ondulation.
Splashing = barbouillage, éclaboussure.

The ripples of kindness and support from this blog community often surprise me. Hope your internet connection warms up soon :-)
Enjoying your cool image on this hot, humid, South African day.

Hi Blu
It's good to hear a round of applause for the internet for once. I also like the quote. It's true what you say...finding warmth and kindness via the internet.
Hope you had a good Christmas.
