Do not disturb!

~ This is the strangest life I've ever know. Jim Morrison ..The Doors ~

I have been reading a book written by Michael Wright called Je t'aime a La Folie, which I picked up at a hospital bookshop, part of the story revolves around an unfunny knock knock joke, but then they all are!

Je t'aime a La Folie is a nice read, and will be added to my visitors to France bookshelf for those days when the rain falls like stair rods.

Todays images are doors and portals in my local town Fougeres.

Knock knock, who's there? Bolton...Bolton who?............ Bolton the door!

Knock knock, who's there? Garden.......... Garden who?
.......Garden the treasure!

Knock knock, who's there, Laisser, Laisser who?
Laisser faire!

Have you heard any good jokes lately?

A little bit of French

To knock before entering........ frapper avant d'entrer

She lives three doors down the road ....Elle habite trois portes plus bas

Wow - I must say that Fougeres looks like an amazingly beautiful town!

Doctor, doctor. I think I'm shrinking!

- I'm busy right now. You'll have to be a little patient.

Doors, doorways, windows .... I'm always drawn to these images. Fougeres is so full of character judging by your photos.

J'adore les portes!
I just got back from a trip to France. Didn't make it to Fougeres. I did manage to take a lot of door photos although I still haven't taken the time to sort through them and post them.

Great words and pictures post! Behind our doors, we've all really enjoyed the Michael Wright books - especially the parts about his plane, which is a wonderfully unexpected part of his baggage.

Good jokes! I'm a Michael Wright fan too.
And not to be outdone by ladyfi:

Doctor, doctor, help me, I think I'm a pair of curtains.
Pull yourself together, man.

Yes, Fougeres looks a worthy place to visit. I think I'll stick it on the list for next month.
Nice photos, Blu.
