Getting on with life

New years resolutions? No not really? I prefer to think lets try harder to get on with things we know we have control over, so stop procrastinating. The world seems a little mad at at the moment, and we cannot change the bigger picture, but maybe the one on our doorstep.

I took this picture in December and I called it You are a Star, it seems to be in the spotlight, I must try and focus my efforts.
The French word for focus your attention is concentrer.
The roots for concentrate are Latin.
The French word for resolve is résourdre.
Resolution is a French word.
Here are some wise words and wonderful pictures, I can spend a lot of time wandering around this blog. Vagabond.

Carol's right, you know, it is a stunning picture. I could do with a bit of resolve atm - I've got to get this essay out and stop messing about in Blogland.

Lovely photo and mum agrees with your philosophy about the New Year. It reminded her very much of what we read on another blog we follow by Lee. He said "What if, instead of listing all the things that have eluded you every year before, what if you made a list of the things that you already can do…
And resolve to do them better?"
